With support from the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC), now Sanitation and Health Fund (SHF), UWASNET in partnership with Plan International, the Chair of the Hygiene and Sanitation thematic working group, conducted a five-day training and dissemination workshop for Civil Society Organizations.
The training took place from November 9th – 13th, 2020 in Kamuli district at Kyemba Sande Gardens and included a total of 32 fully paid up member organizations of UWASNET. The training focused on budget analysis and advocacy for Sanitation, Hygiene and Menstrual Hygiene Health and was spearheaded by Mr. Mitchell Ainebyoona, an Economist from the Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG), an organization that works towards ensuring that budgets at local government and central government levels are participatory and address the needs and aspirations of all Ugandans.
