The Covid-19 pandemic has undoubtedly proved that there is a correlation between economic growth and development and improving sustainable access to safe water and improved standards of sanitation and hygiene for all. In this mini-advocacy documentary, UWASNET calls on the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development and Parliament of Uganda to prioritise access to safe water in national planning and development. This will immensely contribute to better management of the current and future WASH related pandemics. This documentary was produced by UWASNET with support from its partners namely; The Danish People’s Aid (DPA), International Water and Sanitation Centre (IRC Uganda), Sanitation and Water for All (SWA), Whave Solutions, World Vision, SNV, Plan International, CIDI, Engineers Without Borders, to mention but a few.
