Support of vulnerable communities in Mpigi District to access clean water by Rural Water Initiative For Climate Action

LAUNCH OF DONATE-A-JERRICAN CAMPAIGN

VENUE: KIBANGA VILLAGE, KAMENGO SUBCOUNTY, MPIGI DISTRICT, CENTRAL UGANDA, EAST AFRICA
BENEFICIARIES: SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS i.e. PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES(PWDs), WOMEN, CHILDREN AND ELDERLY
NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES: 12 VULNERABLE HOMES, 3 Community Institutions.
PURPOSE: TO IMPROVE ACCESS AND AVAILABILITY TO CLEAN WATER IN VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES
FUTURE PHASES OF THE CAMPAIGN: RWICA aims to reach 50 more families and 1 school in the next 4 months with clean water collecting containers. Our goal, in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, is to provide clean water and sanitation to everyone in every rural community where we work including those in the hardest-to-reach places. There is still much to do!
