UWASNET with technical and training support from Center for affordable water and sanitation technologies(CAWST) conducted a five days community WASH promotion training from 29th November to 3rd December for its members.
Through this workshop, participants were able to gain a clear understanding of the best practices for supporting community members in
changing their behaviors of WASH practices.
This workshop had 3 modules: Foundation, Technical, and Practical.

The workshop began with an exploration of the importance of WASH, its benefits, and the challenges of achieving behavior change. It then covered the more technical aspects of WASH; with focus on household water treatment and safe storage, latrines, various hygiene issues, and gender. The last module was very practical and outlines the steps and strategies for
effectively working with households and community members.
